Will My Boyfriend Take Me Back ?

Isn't it funny how you always seem to want what you just can't have? This is especially true when it comes to dating and relationships. When your man dumps you and everyone is telling you that it's probably for the best, all you keep asking yourself is: will my boyfriend take me back. Make no mistake about it. When a relationship ends, it tends to stay that way. However, as with most things in life, there is still the possibility that it can work out again. It's a small chance, but a chance nonetheless.

So what can you do to win him back?

The very best thing you can do is to remain (and appear) strong throughout the break up. Don't cry or beg or plead for him to stay because as ironic as it sounds, that will only push him away faster. By giving him the impression that you are cool with his decision to end the relationship, you take back your power in the situation.

Don't call him unnecessarily or make excuses just to see him. He will see those actions for what they are: desperate attempts to cling on to him and the failed relationship. Remember that phrase you heard growing up: if you truly love something, set it free. To have any chance to win your ex boyfriend back, you have to give him space.

But don't think you're just going to sit around by the phone waiting for him to call. Going through a break up gives you the ideal opportunity to improve yourself. If you feel out of shape, then start working out. If you want to get promoted at your job, then start taking extra classes to increase your value to your employer. Now is the time to focus on yourself, and change those things that bring you down.

Although you are feeling pretty low, you need to force yourself to see all the wonderful things that you can offer. The answer to the question "how do I get my ex boyfriend back?" is simple: be strong and confident, give him plenty of space, and work on the things that you can actually change (namely yourself). If after all of that, your ex still shows no interest in reviving the relationship, then it's best that you move forward. There's still the possibility of getting back together in the future. But for now, you've done all you can.
